During the COVID-19 pandemic it is imperative that we maintain social distancing, but that doesn’t mean everything has stopped. Numerous Puget Sound organizations are offering online virtual events and video classes. We encourage you to join in!

    Time Travel to the 80s: A Virtual Tour of Japan and the UK using Music and Movement
    Ages 18 and older.
    Taught by Meri Ann Osborne.
    Have your passport ready, your suitcase packed and get set to travel to the 80s!
    Journey to a time when people were showing off their Running Man dance moves, mullets and MTV ruled the airwaves.
    But what was going on in other parts of the globe?
    Visit Japan and the UK, learn about food and culture and dance to their top hits.
    Please dress comfortably, 80s styles encouraged!

    Most of us want to reduce the “stuff” we don’t want or need anymore, from the tangible to the intangible. What is mental housekeeping? Share tips for unburdening ourselves externally and internally.
    Wisdom Cafes invite groups of older adults to engage in intentional dialogues led by trained facilitators. Participants engage with others, are motivated to try new things and are inspired by sharing life experiences.

    Join a step-by-step acrylic painting workshop. Grab a beverage of your choice, talk and make art together!

    Supplies Needed
    – Acrylic paints-red, blue, yellow, black and white
    – 1″ flat and angled flat brush
    – Filbert brush (flat with a round top)
    – Pointed round brush
    – Fan brush
    – Pallet knife or butter knife
    – Mixed media paper preferred
    – Painters or masking tape
    – Water to wash out your brushes
    – Pencil or marker
    – Q-Tips or cotton swabs

    Linus Baker follows all the rules when he investigates orphanages for magical children, but one unique orphanage leads him to reexamine his beliefs. A heartwarming story of found family and the value of looking past your assumptions.
